As part of Thurrock Council's ongoing commitment to further improve Adult Social Care services in the borough, residents are being invited to fill in a short questionnaire.

The questionnaire is just one of many ways people can get involved in the transformation programme, known as 'Putting People First', which is about giving service-users greater choice and control over the services they receive - and how they receive them.

The questionnaire can be found online atwww.thurrock.gov.uk/socialcare

Cllr Amanda Arnold, Thurrock Council Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, said: "Here in Thurrock, our existing Adult Social Care service is considered to be performing well, providing good services to our residents. Now we must build upon this success to improve the service further, making sure that everyone has an opportunity to get involved.

"I would urge anyone who uses our Adult Social Care service - whether they receive Direct Payments, use a home carer, or attend one of our day centres - to fill in the questionnaire. It will only take five minutes of your time, and by having your say, you will be playing your part in the future of Adult Social Care in Thurrock."
